The fabrics are produced by the Creations Ltd. and a network of Women groups up country
from grey cloth (some imported and others locally produced by a special dyeing
technique and finished into garments tailored centrally in Kampala.

The production capacity can be increased in a short period of time depending on the order
either of dyed materials or finished garments

The leather products are produced by ULAIA (Uganda Leather Allied Industries Association)
with a network of up country training centres and a main one in Kampala.

Both the leather and textile products can be mass produced using the big trained manpower
throughout the country.

The Creation Ltd. has number of outlets three in Kampala (at Nommo Gallery, Nakasero,
at the Craft Village, National Theatre, and at Sheraton Hotel) and a workshop on Plot 6
Street Industrial Area, and another one in Mbarara.

The Company which started in 1992 is a member of UMA (Uganda Manufacturers Association) USSIA (Uganda smallscale Industries Association) ULAIA (Uganda Leather Allied Industries Association) UNACA (Uganda Arts and Crafts Association), UAF (Uganda Arts Foundation), UAA (Uganda Artists Association) UNCCI (Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and has participated in many trade fairs and Exhibitions abroad and in Uganda.

In 1993, at the UMA International Trade show at Lugogo, the Company was awarded the 1st Prize among small-scale manufacturers.

The Chairman of the Company Hon. Gen Elly Tumwine is a professional Artist, Teacher, Soldier, and fashion designer who has held many leadership positions in Military, Political, Cultural and Business Institutions and Bodies.

He has founded many associations and business enterprises that transform the social economic life of the people as part of his continuous freedom fighting philosophy. “Freedom fighting is a continuous process in different stages and circumstances” he says. Gen Elly Tumwine through his Company has recently launched a nation wide training of Women in textile development and garment production. He is a Member of Parliament, a Chairman of UVAB (Uganda Veterans Assistance Board), a director of National Chamber of Commerce and a member of the National AGOA Implementation Committee.

As an Artist, Elly has held many Art Exhibitions aboard and at home and is the Chairman of the Art Promotion Committee and Patron of the Uganda Artists Association. As a fashion designer for shoes, and garments he has influenced the dress- code in parliament and nationally.
